Battle of the Phenoms: #1 UNC with freshman Kate Falgowski is at home against #2 UMD with Katie O’ Donnell on Saturday.
AU Eagles narrowly defeated cross town team Towson Tigers 4-3, in overtime.
Jennifer Wisniewski was named NORPAC Player of the Week for the 2nd week in a row. Jenn stopped 10 shots when Radford played #1 UNC Tarheels. Jenn played for Westfield HS/VA and Capitol Pegasus Club.
Allison Behringer verbally committed to play for Princeton University. Allison plays for Severna Park HS/MD and Sparks Club.
Severna Park HS/MD is hoping to stop their slide from #1 for the last few years to #8 this season after 2 losses. They play #1 South River on Thursday.
Games to watch: No. 1 South River takes on No. 4 Severna Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, 10/18/07 at Severna Park.
Adrian Pickar was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after she scored 3 goals in 2 games.. Pickar was also named to www.womensfieldhockey.com weekly honor roll after scoring two goals in the Richmond Spiders' 3-2 win over Saint Joseph's on Sunday and scoring one goal in the 2-1 win over Temple on Friday. She was one of six players from across the nation to be named to the website's honor roll.. Adrian played for Urbana HS/MD and Capitol Pegasus Club.
Katie Knapp verbally committed to play for University of Virginia. Katie attends Langley HS/VA and Rampage Club.
Kim Schnell verbally committed to play for Towson University. Kim joins her older sister, Laura, on Towson’s team. Kim plays for C. Milton Wright and Capitol Pegasus Club.
Ariel Leon , Sophomore, has settled down as a regular starter for Columbia University. Ariel played for Whitman HS/MD and SouthEast Club.
Anna De Petris , Sophomore, has become the super sub for Andrew Griffiths Lafayette team. Anna played for BCC/MD and Washington Wolves.
