Villa Julie is on a 3 games winning streak to bring their record to 4-7.

Towson Tigers had a big win over perennial top 20 team, William and Mary, 3-2.

Jennifer Wisniewski(Westfield HS/Va and Capitol Pegasus), has moved up from 23 to 16 in Division 1 for saves per game, playing for Radford. Jennifer was named NORPAC Conference player of the week.

Severna Park HS, was knocked off their #1 perch in the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun. They held the spot for around 2 years.

South River(7-0), has it’s first taste as #1 in the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun polls. Langley is close on their heels at #2 with a 12-0 record.

# 3 Chesapeake HS upset  Severna Park in overtime to knock them off their perch. Chesapeake was beaten earlier by South River.

#4 Severna Park , is playing at #4 Broadneck in a key game on Thursday.  Broadneck is hoping to keep Severna Park on an unwelcome losing streak.

USA Vs Japan

Matches for the Japan series are scheduled for Oct. 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13 at the Univ. of Maryland. Game time for the Oct. 7 match is 4 p.m. with all other matches scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Univ. of Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.

The USA's Oct. 7 and 12 matches will be played as part of an NCAA/International doubleheader with the Univ. of Maryland taking on Boston University on Oct. 7 (2 p.m.) and Maryland vs. Old Dominion on Oct. 12 (5 p.m.).
